Our primary data center is run in partnership with NetActuate. Serving the world famous Research Triangle Park (RTP) in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina, this part of the world is one of the fastest growing areas for technology in the United States. Long time RTP residents such as IBM, NetApp, Cisco Systems, BASF are welcoming area newcomers Google and Apple, who are both developing new facilities.
The data center itself has its own dedicated 100 KV electrical substation with direct connection to high power lines., multiple generators with redundancy, and days of fuel reserve. For connectivity there are multiple Tier 1 providers coming in over redundant, diversely located entrances, with a mix of new fiber and traditional copper. In addition to 24/7 security and "man trap"/"air lock" style entry, biometrics are required in addition to key cards. The facility boasts PCI DSS, ISO 27001, FISMA, and SOC 2 Type II compliance.
